BRUSSELS: NATO announced on Friday that international allies are actively pursuing a “just and sustainable” resolution to the conflict in Ukraine. This movement comes in anticipation of upcoming US-mediated negotiations scheduled for next week in Abu Dhabi, following comments from US President Donald Trump regarding a potential deal with Russia involving European interests.
An alliance spokeswoman stated that Thursday’s meetings in Brussels, which included officials from NATO, the United States, Ukraine, and various European nations, aimed to build upon previous productive dialogues held in Miami and Oslo. The primary objective of these sessions was to advance a framework for a lasting and equitable end to the war.
