FOX Sports continues its women’s volleyball coverage this weekend with the Players Era Volleyball Showcase in Las Vegas.
Nebraska kicked off the tournament with a commanding 3‑0 sweep of UNLV, as outside hitter Harper Murray contributed 11 kills across the three sets.

Nebraska Sweeps UNLV
The Cornhuskers launched their Players Era Volleyball Showcase against UNLV at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday.
In the opening set, Nebraska surged ahead with a 6‑0 run. UNLV clawed back to 12‑10, but the Cornhuskers rallied to claim the set 25‑18, with outside hitters Teraya Sigler and Harper Murray each contributing five kills.
UNLV grabbed a 3‑2 lead in the second set, but Nebraska answered with a 7‑3 advantage fueled by service errors and a block assist from Harper Murray and middle blocker Andi Jackson. The Cornhuskers then closed the set with an 11‑4 run, securing a 25‑15 victory.
Nebraska dominated the final set, jumping to an early 15‑5 lead. UNLV narrowed the gap to 22‑13, but the Cornhuskers closed out the match 25‑16 to complete the sweep. Nebraska will next face No. 2 Texas on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. PT.
