The Nepal Army is conducting an urgent rescue operation to free survivors trapped inside a tunnel at a hydropower project in Rasuwa.
Video footage from the Prime Minister’s Office shows soldiers carrying survivors and crawling through thick mud to reach others still stranded.
Authorities reported on Thursday that an estimated 100 people were believed to be trapped within the same tunnel.
This effort is part of nationwide rescue operations following a deadly flood, as local police confirmed the death toll in Nepal reached 475 by Friday.
