Survivors in Nepal’s Nuwakot district are sifting through mud and debris in an effort to retrieve personal belongings lost in the wake of severe flash floods.
The floods were triggered by a sudden glacier collapse that sent mud and debris through mountain valleys, causing at least 781 confirmed deaths and leaving more than 2,500 people missing.
