Netflix Officially Renews Claire Danes Thriller ‘The Beast in Me’ for Season Two

The concept of a miniseries has fundamentally shifted in recent years. Once defined by a finite, conclusive run, successful limited series now frequently transition into ongoing formats, often following the receipt of an Outstanding Limited Series Emmy. This trend has previously impacted FX’s acclaimed Shogun and HBO’s hit crime thriller Task, and now one of Netflix’s most celebrated limited series from last year is joining their ranks.

Claire Danes has sustained an impressive television career over the past fifteen years, starting with her acclaimed performance in the terrorism thriller Homeland. Following the conclusion of that series in 2020, she has headlined several successful limited series, including The Essex Serpent, Fleishman Is in Trouble, and Full Circle. She is now set to return to Netflix, though it remains unclear who will be joining her.

The Beast in Me, a psychological crime thriller that premiered on Netflix in November 2025, has officially been renewed for a second season.
