The newly concluded trilateral defense pact between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey was signed in Mecca on August 7, 2026. Dubbed the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement, the accord represents a pivotal development in the evolving strategic architecture of the Middle East.
