The Jets placed starting wide receiver Adonai Mitchell on the injury report Thursday.
He was a limited participant because of a finger injury, marking his first appearance on the report this season.
Through two weeks, Mitchell has recorded nine receptions for 123 yards and drew a long pass‑interference penalty against the Packers in Week 2.
Additionally, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin), linebacker Kiko Mauigoa (quad), running back Kene Nwangwu (back), and tight end Mason Taylor (thumb) missed practice for a second consecutive day. Linebackers Joseph Ossai (foot) and David Bailey (elbow) remained limited participants.
Injury designations for Sunday’s game in Detroit will be announced on Friday.
