Bayern Munich is looking to sell the 31-year-old outright and has signaled that they are not interested in a loan arrangement. This firm stance has already complicated Aston Villa’s interest; reports suggest Bayern rejected a loan-to-buy proposal from Villa, prompting Newcastle to escalate their pursuit.
