Neymar’s fitness status for the 2026 World Cup remains uncertain, but his commitment to the upcoming tournament is evident.

During a lip-reading analysis conducted by specialist Velloso, the Brazil forward revealed his current weight and expressed optimism while speaking with CBF president Samir Xaud.

“It’ll work out, it’ll work out. Obviously… it was difficult, but it was worth it. And today I’m at my weight… No, man! I’m 68 [kilos],” the attacking midfielder stated.

Xaud’s responses were not captured by cameras, limiting the exchange to Neymar’s remarks.

The conversation took place at the Maracanã Stadium while Neymar observed Brazil’s 6-2 victory over Panama from the substitutes’ bench.

Brazil arrived in the United States on Tuesday to continue preparations for the World Cup, which commences next week.
