It has been a prolific year for the solo members of One Direction. Following the tragic passing of Liam Payne in October 2024, the remaining members—Niall Horan, Zayn, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson—have all released major solo projects in 2026, each finding significant commercial success.
Horan is the most recent of the group to release new material, with his fourth studio album, Dinner Party, arriving in early June. The album has seen exceptional performance in the United Kingdom, where the Irish singer remains a major force, effectively doubling his number of No. 1 hits across several U.K. charts.
Niall Horan Dominates Multiple U.K. Charts with Dinner Party
Dinner Party debuted on six different U.K. charts, securing the top position on four of them. On three specific tallies, the album marks Horan’s second No. 1. It climbed to the summit of the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Vinyl Albums charts, following the success of The Show, which reached No. 1 in 2023.
Consistent Top 10 Success
On both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts—which track the best-selling full-length EPs and physical releases respectively—Dinner Party represents Horan’s fourth top 10 entry. This encompasses his entire catalog of traditional studio projects.
Horan’s performance on the Official Vinyl Albums chart remains strong, with three entries reaching the top 10. Heartbreak Weather, along with his two No. 1 albums The Show and Dinner Party, have all reached the highest tier. His debut solo effort, Flicker, which launched his solo career following One Direction’s hiatus, did not reach the top 10.
Dinner Party Reaches the Top of the Official Albums Chart
Dinner Party also successfully conquered the Official Albums chart, the primary U.K. ranking that combines all sales and streaming data. This achievement marks another milestone for Horan, as three of his four solo studio albums have reached No. 1, with only Flicker missing the top spot; that 2017 release peaked at No. 3.
While Horan has had other entries on the Official Albums chart, such as the 2024 release The Show — Live on Tour, which peaked at No. 79, he has yet to see another project reach the top 10.
Narrowly Missing No. 1 on Digital Downloads
Despite its success, Dinner Party narrowly missed the top spot on the Official Album Downloads chart. This remains one of the few charts Horan has yet to lead. His previous three qualifying releases—Flicker, Heartbreak Weather, and Dinner Party—all peaked at No. 2, while The Show reached No. 7.

Streaming Performance Reaches Career Low
While Dinner Party is a commercial success in terms of sales, it reached a career low on the Official Albums Streaming chart. The album debuted at No. 75, making it the first of Horan’s projects to miss the top 20. For comparison, Flicker reached No. 3, Heartbreak Weather hit No. 7, and The Show peaked at No. 18.
