Nitish Kumar Reddy sustained a quadriceps strain while bowling in the opening ODI against Afghanistan in Dharamshala. The injury kept him out of the second match in Lucknow. He returned for the final game in Chennai, delivering six overs that yielded 42 runs without taking a wicket, after which he reported ongoing discomfort.
