NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Admirals announced that forwards Kristóf Papp, Nick Capone and Matt Argentina have signed contracts for the 2026‑27 season.
Kristóf Papp, 25, will commence his second full professional season with the Admirals. A Budapest native, he concluded the previous season tied for fourth on the team with 46 points, including 20 goals, and represented Hungary at the 2026 IIHF World Championships, contributing an assist in seven games and helping the squad defeat Great Britain.
Nick Capone, 24, joins the Admirals for his third professional season. After four years at the University of Connecticut, where he amassed 42 points in 118 games, he was drafted 157th overall in the sixth round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the Tampa Bay Lightning. He spent the past two seasons with the Reading Royals, recording 16 points in 78 games.
Matt Argentina, 23, is preparing for his first full professional season after appearing briefly at the end of the 2025‑26 campaign with the Iowa Heartlanders, scoring one goal in five games. A Philadelphia native, he previously competed in college hockey for Northern Michigan University and Boston College, and spent two seasons in the United States Hockey League with the Waterloo Black Hawks.
