Notion

Notion has announced that its email client, Notion Mail, will be discontinued later this year, with the service ending on September 22 across all web, mobile, and desktop platforms. The company has released a FAQ to help users migrate their messages and data. While existing emails will remain accessible via Gmail, users will need to manually export drafts, scheduled messages, snippets, and auto‑label rules.

Notion continues to focus on email, but emphasizes AI‑driven inbox management. In a recent X post, the company noted that as its agents become more capable, an increasing number of users are delegating email workflows to them. Currently, over half of Notion Mail users handle their email without opening an inbox, prompting the company to double down on agent‑based inbox management.

Notion provides a comprehensive suite of productivity tools and introduced Notion Mail following its acquisition of the Skiff startup in 2024.
