Today’s NYT Connections scores a 3 out of 5 on the Connections Bot difficulty scale, and I found it particularly challenging due to the abundance of red herrings. Moreover, CARD SLOT initially feels more at home in an ATM MACHINE than in a computer.
Once the solution is clear, the connections become obvious; the Yellow group was straightforward. The ATM, LCD, PIN, and UPC combo is easy to spot once you stop trying to force them into the Green group’s categories.
