The Orlando Pride announced on Monday that it has parted ways with head coach Seb Hines, effective immediately. Assistant coach Yolanda Thomas has been named interim head coach.
“We want to express our gratitude to Seb for the dedication, leadership and professionalism he brought to the Club during his time with us,” Orlando Pride Vice President of Soccer Operations and General Manager Caitlin Carducci said.
Carducci added that the club determined a leadership change was necessary to align with its long-term vision and future goals.
Thomas has served as an assistant coach with the Pride since joining the club ahead of the 2023 season. She also served as head coach for the U-23 U.S. Women’s Youth National Team during two camps in 2025. Prior to joining Orlando, Thomas coached Tulsa Soccer Club and Fortuna Tulsa of the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
Goalkeeper coach Paul Crichton is also departing the club alongside Hines. Crichton joined the Pride coaching staff before the 2023 season.
