The Green Bay Packers capitalized on a Carolina Panthers turnover, turning a Bryce Young interception into a 24-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Matthew Golden. The score marked Golden’s fourth touchdown of the season.
On the previous play, Golden actually dropped a touchdown. The wide receiver has dealt with dropped passes this season, recording three against Green Bay’s win over the Dallas Cowboys and two during the game against the Panthers.
Carolina has struggled offensively in this game. Even after a turnover gave them the ball at the Packers’ 29-yard line, they gained only eight yards and had to settle for a field goal. After their touchdown on the first play of the second quarter, their final three drives ended with two punts and an interception.
