Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has entered a four‑year, $110.5 million contract extension, including a $31 million signing bonus, solidifying his position among the league’s elite earners.
Under the new agreement, Watson will average $27.625 million per season, placing him 15th overall among all NFL wide receivers.
Seattle’s Jaxon Smith‑Njigba currently holds the top spot with a $42.15 million per‑season average after signing a $168.6 million, four‑year contract last season. Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase follows at $40.25 million, while Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson, Dallas’s CeeDee Lamb, and Pittsburgh’s D.K. Metcalf round out the top five with averages of $35.0 million, $34.0 million and $33.0 million respectively.
Watson falls between Denver’s Jaylen Waddle, who averages $28.25 million, and Buffalo’s D.J. Moore at $27.5 million.
Notably, the new deal places Watson ahead of former Packers legend Davante Adams, whose average with the Los Angeles Rams was $22.0 million, and Romeo Doubs, who earned $17.0 million with the New England Patriots.
