On Thursday, the Saudi embassy in Pakistan announced that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia explored ways to deepen collaboration across industry, energy, education, technology and related fields, aiming to convert their long‑standing friendly relations into tangible economic opportunities.
The two nations share strong fraternal ties forged over decades of cooperation in defense, economy, industry, energy, agriculture, livestock, tourism and other areas. As regional tensions, including the US‑Iran conflict and the war in Yemen, have escalated, both countries have intensified their defense, economic and business ties.
Pakistan’s Climate Change Minister Dr. Musadik Malik met Saudi Ambassador Dr. Rajeh Tami Albugamy in Islamabad, the Saudi embassy posted on social media platform X.
The meeting covered opportunities for cooperation in industry, energy, education, scientific research, technology, business development and youth empowerment, the embassy said.
