Pittsburgh also agreed to terms with goaltender Arturs Silovs on a one-year, $2.8 million contract on Sunday.

The 25-year-old Silovs, likewise a restricted free agent, posted a 19-12-8 record with a 3.07 goals-against average, .888 save percentage and two shutouts in 39 appearances (38 starts) last season during his first year with the Penguins.

In three postseason starts, Silovs went 2-1 with a 1.52 GAA and .939 save percentage.

Originally selected by the Vancouver Canucks in the sixth round (156th overall) of the 2019 NHL Draft, Silovs holds a regular-season mark of 27-20-10 with a 3.09 GAA, .886 save percentage and two shutouts in 58 games (56 starts) between Vancouver and Pittsburgh. His playoff resume includes a 7-6 record, 2.56 GAA, .907 save percentage and one shutout over 13 starts.
