The Defense Department has quietly raised the official number of troops wounded in the Iran war by 37, without offering any justification for the increase.
This revision includes 29 Navy sailors and eight Marines, as identified through an examination of the Pentagon’s public casualty database, known as the Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS). The system records personnel losses from U.S. military engagements abroad.
