PPAP Automotive has entered a strategic collaboration with Hutchinson to develop and deploy advanced automotive body sealing systems tailored for the Indian market.
Under this agreement, PPAP will produce and distribute high-performance sealing solutions leveraging Hutchinson’s proprietary technology, along with licensed engineering expertise and ongoing technical assistance.
Manufacturing operations will utilize PPAP’s established production capabilities in India, ensuring quality control and localized supply chain efficiency.

The partnership grants PPAP an exclusive license for India to manufacture, market, and sell Hutchinson’s designated sealing products, incorporating their technology and technical support.
Hutchinson will contribute technical guidance, engineering support, design optimization, and process improvement services throughout the product lifecycle.
Effective from 1 April 2026, PPAP will make periodic payments tied to the transfer of technical knowledge, technology licensing, and technical services from Hutchinson.
Additionally, PPAP will pay royalties for the use of Hutchinson’s intellectual property, designs, and related proprietary rights under the agreement.
Hutchinson reported revenue of approximately €5 billion ($5.76 billion) in 2025, underscoring its leadership in advanced engineering systems.
The collaboration aims to enhance PPAP’s portfolio of sealing systems, provide OEMs in India with access to sophisticated technology, and strengthen support for vehicle manufacturers through improved engineering capabilities.
