President Donald Trump has authorized a significant landmark agreement with Saudi Arabia that may grant the kingdom uranium enrichment capabilities for its civilian nuclear energy program, according to reporting from the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday.
According to US officials, the 30-year deal is estimated to be worth tens of billions of dollars. The agreement is expected to involve various US firms in the development of the program and could facilitate the construction of a uranium enrichment facility within Saudi Arabia, pending the results of a joint US-Saudi study.
