The Qatar Grand Prix and MotoGP races scheduled for November are proceeding as planned, according to local organizers.

Qatar remains committed to hosting MotoGP and Formula One races in November despite ongoing regional uncertainties, the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) President Abdul Rahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai confirmed.
“Qatar has maintained safety and stability for months now. Our airport is fully operational, facilitating transit flights between Asia and Europe. Visitors to Qatar will find daily life has returned to normal, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming back international racing events,” Al Mannai stated on Tuesday.
Formula One officials indicated a final determination regarding the November 29 race at the Lusail circuit near Doha would be made in mid-September, with contingency plans in place to conclude the season in Europe should Qatar and Abu Dhabi prove unfeasible.
MotoGP is slated to compete at the same venue on November 8. Meanwhile, the World Endurance Championship (WEC) has cancelled its October 24 event in Qatar.
“We are actively preparing for MotoGP, and our discussions with Formula One are progressing. While unforeseen circumstances remain beyond our control and the situation continues to evolve, it has remained relatively stable thus far. Our approach is to take it step by step, monitoring developments and evaluating conditions. At this point, preparations are on track and moving forward as planned.”
Middle East racing events represent substantial revenue sources for Formula One through hosting agreements worth tens of millions of dollars.
