Roosters Stun Broncos 30-6 for Third NRLW Championship Title
The Sydney Roosters defeated the Brisbane Broncos 30-6, completing a flawless campaign and lifting their third NRLW premiership.
A lightning‑fast first half featured stars Corban Baxter and Millie Elliott pairing for six tries in Accor Stadium.
Having gone unbeaten with eleven regular‑season victories, Sydney secured victory on Sunday, becoming historically the first club to claim a third title—following Grand Final triumphs in 2021 and 2024.
The side recorded a 31‑3 record over its last two fixtures, earning a second premiership in three straight seasons and delivering redemption after earlier losses in the Decider.
Goal‑scorers Brydie Parker (2), Tarryn Aiken, Isabelle Kelly, Jayme Fressard and Amber Hall breached the net as the Roosters unfurled a dominant first‑half display.
Parker locked in her Grand Final hat‑trick before halftime, extending the margin to 30-0.
Jesse Southwell found the try line after 63 minutes, but the fixture was effectively decided earlier, allowing the Roosters to celebrate an oversized win.
Retiring forward Millie Elliott reflected, “Everyone knows how intense this has been—this season served as our ultimate catalyst, driving every effort day in and day out,” she said.
Captain Isabelle Kelly stated, “This year has seen us build something special, perhaps our finest performance yet. We are grateful for the journey together. For Millie and Corban, their dedication and passion have created an unbreakable bond for the club—you will always belong to the Roosters’ family.”
The harsh defeat for Brisbane also closes Ali Brigginshaw’s distinguished active career, marking his final appearance in the women’s game on a disappointing night.
