Contract chipmaker seeks to enhance customer experience amid scaling production

TOKYO – Rapidus, a Japanese contract chip manufacturer, and Cadence, a U.S. software firm, announced a partnership aimed at providing developers with agent-based AI tools that streamline the chip design process. The collaboration seeks to improve efficiency and help customers bring products to market faster as Rapidus ramps up production. The companies plan to integrate Cadence’s expertise in design automation with Rapidus’s manufacturing capabilities, offering an end‑to‑end solution for high‑performance chips.
