Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers delivered a strong first half in Indianapolis, recording five catches for 150 yards. However, his 54-yard touchdown reception came at a cost, as he experienced a hamstring issue during the play.
Although he briefly returned and caught one additional pass, Flowers did not re-enter the game after the hamstring tweak.
According to a source with knowledge of the situation, the injury aggravated a pre-existing hamstring issue sustained during joint practices with the Vikings. Flowers was sidelined for several weeks before returning to action on September 3.
He is currently listed as questionable for the Ravens’ Week 2 home matchup against the Saints.
If Flowers is unable to play, expect increased opportunities for LaJohntay Wester and Chris Moore. The Ravens also contend with a wrist injury to receiver Ja’Kobi Lane.
