RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi police have implemented special security and traffic arrangements for the Pakistan Test cricket team’s pre‑series training camp at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, ahead of the squad’s tour of the West Indies.

A police spokesperson said the comprehensive security plan was put into effect following directives from City Police Officer Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera.

District and traffic police personnel are jointly carrying out the arrangements, with senior officers overseeing operations on the ground to guarantee a safe environment for players, officials and support staff.

The spokesperson added that security inside and around the stadium has been intensified, with mobile units from the relevant police stations, the Elite Force and the Dolphin Squad conducting continuous patrols.

Additional traffic deployments have been positioned to monitor entry and exit points and keep traffic flowing smoothly around the venue.
