RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has reached an agreement on personal terms with Real Madrid after Paris Saint-Germain decided to withdraw from the pursuit.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international had previously attracted significant interest from Liverpool, who saw an initial £69m bid rejected in June, as well as from PSG.
Following the rejection of their opening offer, Liverpool shifted their focus to alternative targets, while PSG have now opted to step back rather than engage in a costly bidding war with the Spanish giants.
Reports indicate that PSG’s final attempt to secure the teenager, a £102.5m bid, was rejected this past Sunday.
Real Madrid have since finalized personal terms with the player. The contract structure is reportedly modeled after Jude Bellingham’s deal, featuring performance-based incentives that provide effective year-on-year increases.
Real Madrid are expected to exceed a £100m valuation for Diomande, who moved to Leipzig from Spanish side Leganés last summer on a five-year contract.
