With just over $9 million in salary-cap space, the Anaheim Ducks likely do not have enough room to re-sign Cutter Gauthier. Like teammate Carlsson, the 21-year-old left winger is a restricted free agent coming off his entry-level contract after a career-best season. Unlike Carlsson, however, Gauthier cannot sign an offer sheet with another club because he has not yet reached the required number of NHL games played.
