Following the conclusion of the World Cup matches at Gillette Stadium, organizers have begun removing the temporary branding applied to its 64,000 seats.
The process involves detaching adhesive labels that displayed sponsor identifiers, a task projected to exceed 1,000 hours when performed at a rate of one sticker per minute.
This cleanup restores the venue to its standard configuration, consistent with FIFA’s stringent sponsor removal requirements.
Future World Cup fixtures are scheduled for Miami, Kansas City, Atlanta, Dallas, and New Jersey, with SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles — despite its superior facilities — opting not to host the semifinal or final matches.
