Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández is reportedly considering a departure from the club at the season’s conclusion.
Real Madrid has expressed interest in acquiring the 25‑year‑old South American midfielder and is prepared to incorporate additional players in the transaction to lower the valuation, according to TEAMtalk.
Chelsea is expected to demand a substantial fee for Fernández, while Real Madrid may offer Jacobo Ramon, a central defender from Como, and Chema Andrés, a defensive midfielder from Stuttgart, as part of the package. Both have performed commendably this season, and Chelsea have been keeping tabs on them.
Real Madrid holds an option to reacquire those players, and it would not be unexpected if they exercised the clause to sign them, subsequently using them as part of a deal for Fernández.
Fernández has been outstanding for Chelsea this season, netting 15 goals and providing seven assists. His exit would represent a significant loss for the club, yet he may be tempted by the prospect of joining Real Madrid. With Chelsea not competing in European competition next year, Fernández will seek to play at the highest level, and the chance to join Real Madrid is difficult to resist.
It remains uncertain whether Chelsea will agree to a deal involving cash and the two players for the 2022 World Cup winner. Ramon and Andrés are promising young talents with bright futures, and Chelsea could develop them into stars in the coming seasons.
Real Madrid require greater creativity and control in midfield, and Fernández could revitalize the side. He would contribute goals and drive the team forward with his passing and vision, and being at the peak of his career, now is an ideal moment for him to join an elite club and contend for domestic titles and the UEFA Champions League.
