Republicans are leveraging their financial edge to saturate airwaves with advertising.
According to research firm AdImpact, over $1 billion in political ads aired in September alone. Republicans outspent Democrats by roughly $200 million, dominating the air war in virtually every toss-up Senate race.
The former president is banking on this late-stage messaging blitz to mobilize Republican voters, aiming to boost turnout and mitigate potential losses for his party.
Regardless of the outcome, the political spotlight will swiftly pivot toward the 2028 presidential contest. While Trump’s unpopularity has defined these midterms, his constitutional ineligibility for a third term means the debate will soon center on the Democratic Party’s affirmative vision rather than solely its opposition to the former president.
