Ripple has signed a multi-year marketing deal with the University of Florida, bringing the XRP logo to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, digital platforms, and event signage, while committing to financial and technology education initiatives for student-athletes.
This partnership marks Ripple’s latest major college sports sponsorship, following a similar deal with the Kansas Jayhawks earlier this year.
The announcement comes as XRP trades around $1.41, reflecting a 34.9% gain over the past month but remaining down nearly 50% year-to-date.
Ripple is expanding its presence in college sports, landing a multi-year marketing deal with the University of Florida to feature the XRP logo on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium starting this football season.
Florida Athletics announced the partnership on Friday, confirming that the XRP branding will be prominently displayed on the field, digital properties, and event signage in Gainesville. Beyond the marketing visibility, Ripple has committed to supporting financial and technology education for Florida student-athletes and the broader campus community. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
“Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology to enhance the experience of our fans and advance our programs,” said University of Florida Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin. “Ripple has established itself as an innovative leader in financial technology, and we’re excited to welcome XRP to Gator Nation.”

The Gators deal marks Ripple’s latest push into college athletics. The company previously struck a multi-year agreement earlier this year to place the XRP logo on the University of Kansas Jayhawks’ basketball jerseys, representing a significant step for a crypto brand seeking marketing real estate within major college athletic programs.
As Ripple leans into mainstream visibility with these high-profile sponsorships, XRP’s market performance has experienced mixed trends. The token traded around $1.41 on Friday, showing a modest 0.6% increase over 24 hours. This leaves XRP up approximately 34.9% over the past 30 days, though it remains down nearly 50% over the past year.
Additionally, spot XRP ETF demand has recently shown signs of cooling. Flow data from Sept. 4 indicated essentially flat flows, ending a recent streak of inflows. According to Decrypt’s XRP ETF tracker, current sentiment is classified as “neutral,” despite cumulative net inflows maintaining a solid level of about $1.6 billion.
The sponsorships coincide with Ripple’s broader strategic expansion. After years of building out its payments, custody, and treasury infrastructure, the company recently launched its RLUSD stablecoin, further integrating its offerings into the mainstream financial ecosystem.
