Rivian Automotive reaffirmed its 2026 delivery guidance on Friday after reporting a 46% year‑over‑year increase in Q3 deliveries, surpassing Wall Street’s expectations.
The automaker disclosed that it delivered 19,248 vehicles between July and September, a rise from 13,201 units a year earlier. Analysts had projected 18,000 deliveries, according to FactSet’s consensus estimates.
Rivian raised its 2026 delivery guidance to a range of 65,000–70,000 vehicles earlier this year. To meet this goal, it must boost quarterly deliveries by at least 20.5%, reaching 23,193 units by the fourth quarter.
This delivery expansion coincides with ongoing scaling of production for the entry‑level Rivian R2 SUV, introduced earlier this year as a more affordable complement to the flagship R1 SUV.
