Robbie Williams Stuns Buenos Aires Fans with Surprise Street Performance

Robbie Williams appeared with his live guitarist for a four‑song acoustic set. He performed “All My Life” from his recent album Britpop, “Selfish Disco” from the deluxe edition, and the classic tracks “Advertising Space” and “Angels” (according to Setlist.FM).

Reports also indicate that he spent time talking with fans and posing for photos.

The surprise show took place just days before his first full‑scale concerts in Argentina in two decades. His previous appearance in the country was two shows at Buenos Aires’ River Plate Stadium in October 2006.

Robbie Williams is scheduled to play at Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena on Thursday October 1, followed by shows on Friday October 2 and Sunday October 4. After the Argentine leg, he will continue his tour to Mexico, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this year he played concerts in Colombia, Peru and Chile. In Lima, Peru, after his venue‑scheduled show was cancelled for safety reasons, he gave an impromptu performance outside his hotel.

This summer he is set to headline the Lytham Festival in the UK, perform two large stadium shows in Ireland, and close the British Grand Prix in July. The timing, just after Glastonbury 2027, has led to speculation that he might also appear at Worthy Farm.

In 2023 Williams said he believes he would “slaughter” the coveted Legends Slot at Glastonbury if given the chance, adding, “Many people have a skewed view of who I am, but if they saw me perform, I would blow them away.”

Last month he revealed that he has been diagnosed with autism, describing the condition as his “get‑out‑of‑jail‑free card.”

Williams released his latest album, Britpop, in January. The record propelled him past The Beatles’ record for the most UK number‑one albums by a solo artist. He has previously said that surpassing the Fab Four’s achievement is a goal he desires “more than anything in my career right now.”
