Robyn recently surprised BBC Radio 2 with an impromptu performance featuring a live rendition of Erasure’s 1994 anthem “Always,” alongside selections from her latest album, Sexistential. The setlist included her tracks “Dopamine,” “Sucker For Love,” and “Talk to Me.”
During the session, Robyn joined Metronomy founder Joseph Mount for an intimate discussion about the creative development of Sexistential, showcasing how early demo recordings transformed into the album’s final production. The artist shared insights into her songwriting process and the evolution of her narrative themes.
Currently embarked on a European tour promoting Sexistential, Robyn will extend her shows to North American venues this fall, including New York, Chicago, and Toronto. Additionally, the artist released a reimagined version of her 2002 single “Blow My Mind” in early 2023, with revised lyrics reflecting personal reflections on parenthood.
