Roman Reigns Defends World Heavyweight Title Against Penta on WWE Raw

WWE returns to Mexico City for the first time in 15 years with a live episode of Raw headlined by Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Penta.

Penta earned the opportunity by defeating his brother, Rey Fenix, in the finals of an eight-man tournament. The match marks the first one-on-one meeting between Penta and Reigns, as well as Reigns’ fourth title defense.

A second championship bout is also scheduled, with WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable defending his title against Dragon Lee. Gable previously competed in Mexico earlier this year, facing El Grande Americano in an AAA mask-vs.-mask match that was considered a contender for match of the year.

Raw will also include two Money in the Bank qualifying matches.

On the men’s side, Je’Von Evans will face Austin Theory and Big Cass in a triple-threat qualifier. The women’s qualifier will feature WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez against debuting Lola Vice and reigning NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan.
