Rush is in good health despite his prolonged absence from AEW programming.

Responding to social media speculation about a renewed injury, Rush emphasized that he has only been injured once during his AEW run.

“During my time with AEW I have only been injured ONCE, and one time during Continental Classic I tweaked my knee and medical team advised I recover,” he wrote. “I do my best to be part of every event, but any news you hear about injury prone is false. I even popped my elbow back in during a match to continue to perform. I train in Mexico at the gym and in ring, I study English daily, and study tapes, I do everything possible to be at my best and READY for any opportunity.”

“Do not believe false narratives, EL TORO BLANCO is healthy and ready always, Monday to Monday,” he continued.

The former ROH World Champion was last seen on television on July 1, when he defeated Jordan Cruz in a match taped for Collision. After being passed over for AEW’s All In event on August 30, Rush released a statement wishing his colleagues “great success.”

Rush’s brothers, Dragon Lee and Dralistico, have recently been in the news as their contracts near expiration in the coming months.
