Former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has cancelled the majority of his North American tour dates, with only an August 7 performance at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota remaining scheduled. In response to the news, Hagar shared a heartfelt social media message expressing his disappointment, while simultaneously offering Roth an unexpected opportunity. “I just received a call from Michael Anthony regarding your tour cancellation, and I want to express my sincere condolences,” Hagar stated. “I hope you’re in good health. We both deeply respect your dedication to supporting the legacy of Van Halen, and I truly apologize for this setback.”

Hagar’s message took an unexpected turn as he invited Roth to participate in his upcoming ‘Sammy Hagar: The Best of All Worlds’ Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live this September. “Join us in Vegas for the residency,” Hagar proposed. “Sing a few tracks, MC the show – simply do what you do best, which is undeniably entertaining!” He concluded with warm wishes: “I genuinely care about you, brother.
