In Taipei, Hong Kong, and Seoul, BYD, Google, AMD, Tesla, and other major tech firms are turning more frequently to Samsung Electronics for contract chip manufacturing, as the surge in AI infrastructure demand overtaxes the advanced fabrication capabilities of market leader TSMC, Nikkei Asia reports.
