The son of former first-class cricketer Subodh Jain, Saransh has emerged as a standout performer in domestic cricket over recent seasons. A late bloomer, he made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2014 but only recently garnered widespread attention in 2022. Prior to that, he had played just eight first-class matches. However, in the 2022 tournament, he rose to prominence by delivering an exceptional performance in the knockouts. Representing Madhya Pradesh, Saransh took 13 wickets and scored a half-century, leading his team to their first-ever Ranji Trophy title.
