RBC Canadian Open Tee Times: Key Information
After recording a blistering 63 in the second round, 23‑year‑old American Ben James leads the tournament at 10 under par after 36 holes. James, fresh from his senior season at the University of Virginia, is riding significant momentum in his first professional appearance at the event, having earned his tour card by topping the PGA Tour University Ranking.
“I wasn’t focusing on results this week,” James said after his round. “I was just looking to get comfortable, meet new people, and enjoy the experience. This is my baseline as a pro, and after a solid two days I’m determined to keep improving.”
A challenge ahead: 17 players sit within three shots of James, including Sam Burns at –9, Brooks Koepka at –8, and Sahith Theegala at –7.
James tees off in the third round at 1:45 p.m. ET alongside Sam Burns.
Saturday’s third round is available on the Golf Channel from 1–3 p.m. ET, followed by a CBS broadcast from 3–6 p.m. ET. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ begins coverage at 7:45 a.m. ET, featuring exclusive early–hour and hole‑by‑hole streams.
