ISLAMABAD: A three-day Saudi-Pakistan Real Estate Exhibition commenced today, Wednesday, in Lahore, showcasing property investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia. The event aims to attract Pakistani investors and strengthen economic ties between the two nations, with real estate and property development emerging as key areas for cross-border collaboration.

The exhibition, running from October 21 to October 23 at Lake City in Lahore, brings together stakeholders from both countries to explore investment prospects and enhance bilateral cooperation in the real estate sector. It provides a platform for investors, developers, and industry representatives to showcase projects and discuss avenues for cooperation.

The Saudi-Pakistan Business Council (SPBC), one of the event’s organizers, encouraged participation in a recent statement: “Discover a wide range of residential and investment properties, explore promising opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s growing real estate market, and connect directly with leading Saudi developers.”

Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at reducing the Kingdom’s dependency on oil, includes massive infrastructure expansion across health, education, recreation, tourism, and real estate sectors. This transformation is creating significant opportunities in the real estate market.

The Lahore exhibition is expected to serve as a vital networking platform for industry players, facilitating discussions on future collaborations. It coincides with increased interest from foreign companies in Saudi Arabia’s vast real estate sector.

Notably, a Pakistani property technology startup, Fortify, has recently expanded into Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2021 and based in Karachi, Fortify develops enterprise resource planning software for real estate companies, integrating sales, customer relationship management, finance, and property management on a single platform.

“Saudi Arabia is one of the largest markets within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and as far as Vision 2030 is concerned, we believe that real estate has real potential in terms of digital transformation within the Kingdom,” said Syed Zain Ali, CEO and co-founder of Fortify, in an interview with Arab News. “We believe starting with Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom, would be our first priority for global expansion.”
