‘Scared to death’: Over 40,000 people evacuated as Nevada’s Hawk fire spreads

An additional 45,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate from the northwestern United States as the fast-moving Hawk fire advances toward Reno. Officials confirmed the blaze is human-caused, although they have not clarified whether it was set intentionally. Nearly eight hundred firefighters have been mobilized to combat the flames, while erratic wind patterns have hindered rescue operations. To date, the fire shows no sign of containment.
