Seahawks running back Jadarian Price will miss not only Sunday’s game but also the next three contests.
On Saturday, the Seahawks announced that they placed Price on injured reserve due to a chest injury.
Price first sustained a chest injury in Week 2 and aggravated it during Wednesday’s practice.
The fourth‑overall pick started the team’s first three games, but has accumulated only 119 yards on 28 carries, including two fumbles. He accounted for 35.8% of offensive snaps, sharing carries with Emanuel Wilson and George Holani.
The Seahawks expect Zach Charbonnet to return eventually, as they have opened his 21‑day practice window this week.
Seattle signed running back Velus Jones Jr. off the practice squad on Saturday.
Additionally, the Seahawks promoted cornerback Trevon Diggs and safety Maxen Hook from the practice squad for Sunday’s game.
