Security Measures Activate Amid Iranian President’s Arrival
The bus terminals across Islamabad have been temporarily shut down in preparation for the Iranian President’s expected arrival on Tuesday. Officials from the different bus terminals, including those in Faizabad and Chongi No 26, were instructed to cease operations before midnight. Security personnel, along with police and paramilitary units, are mobilizing to implement the closure and prevent any access through the Islamabad Red Zone or nearby areas. Public transport services within the High Security Zone may also be temporarily suspended to enhance safety. Authorities emphasize these precautions as a response to the high stakes of the event.
Additionally, thousands of police and military personnel are deployed to secure key locations, while thorough checks are conducted on travelers and accommodations within the Red Zone and adjacent regions.
