[The Raconteurs Return After a Seven‑Year Break in Nashville’s Opening Show]
The Raconteurs have come back together for the first time in seven years, performing at Jack White’s opening concert at The Truth venue in Nashville.
Earlier that day, Jack White hinted at the possibility of a reunion through social media, saying, “Inside info for any Raconteurs fans in the Nashville area… you might want to buy a ticket for Jack White’s show at The Truth tonight… there just might be a little surprise.”

The performance marked the group’s first full show since December 2019 and aligns with recent announcements that Third Man Records Vault will release a 20th‑anniversary edition of their debut album Broken Boy Soldiers. This special cassette will include a recording of the band’s initial live performance from March 20, 2006, along with nine early demos.
The Raconteurs’ most recent studio effort was their third album, Help Me Stranger, released in 2019—a eleven‑year gap since their sophomore record, Consolers of the Lonely (2008). It remains unclear whether Saturday’s reunion was a singular tribute to the Broken Boy Soldiers reissue or the opening of Nashville’s The Truth venue, or whether the band has broader plans ahead.
