Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana announced Sunday that he is contemplating a presidential run, though he has yet to make a final decision.
During an appearance on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press,’ Kennedy stated he intends to seek reelection to the Senate, but indicated he would pursue the White House if he believed he could no longer be effective in Congress or if the field of presidential candidates failed to meet his standards.
