Flooding across Caracas, Venezuela, after heavy rains
Torrential rains have triggered widespread flooding across Caracas, Venezuela, after the El Valle River breached its banks. The overflow submerged significant sections of a major highway and the surrounding urban areas, causing severe disruption to transit.
Emergency response teams were deployed immediately to manage the crisis as rising water levels left numerous motorists stranded. The storms also caused significant infrastructural damage, including downed power lines and uprooted trees.
