Bollywood icon and co-owner of the Knight Riders Group, Shah Rukh Khan, formally unveiled the Los Angeles Knight Riders’ (LAKR) dedicated cricket ground, marking the realization of a long-standing vision for the franchise. The venue, designed to transcend traditional sports infrastructure, aims to serve as a multifaceted space for entertainment, family engagement, and cultural experiences.
In a social media announcement, Shah Rukh expressed his excitement, stating, “What started as a dream… turns into reality today. Welcoming you all to the Knight Riders Cricket Ground, LA—a place built not just for sports but also entertainment and for families… and memories that last forever.” He extended gratitude to ICC Chairman Jay Shah, the International Cricket Council, and Sanjog Gupta for their contributions to the project.
